Como

 Como, the city that gives its name to the lake. Bellagio

The reputation of the City of Bellagio is inextricably linked to America. In Las Vegas in fact the most refined and elegant hotels on the Strip is the Bellagio Hotel, which takes its name from this town on Lake Como. It is a tiny village, just a little more than 3 thousand inhabitants, with its old houses, its intricate alleys, its stairways and its old town has become a tourist center of exception much to boast the reputation of "Pearl of Lake Como ". Island Comancina

Accessible by ferry or boat from Sala Comacina, Comacina island is a strip of land surrounded by Lake Como, the only island of the lake. It is an area inhabited in ancient times, which still brings back the turbulent past of the area. It is commonly called the "Pompeii of the Lario" since it represents one of the most significant archaeological sites of the entire region. Do not miss the Baroque church of San Giovanni, the basilica of St. Euphemia, the remains of the churches of St. Peter and the Saints Faustino and Jovita. Attention to the island conveys the Sunday close to June 24, St. John's Day, when you hold a procession and a fireworks display on the lake absolutely unmissable.
